Cool E-Mail from around the globe

Between the beginning of June and the end of August 1994, we received over two thousand e-mail inquiries and best-wishes to the Zippy Pronoia Tour, from all over the planet... illustrating the global appeal of the zippy phenomenon. As we were on the road with minimal resources, and were operating remote-guerilla-style from my WELL account, it was all a bit overwhelming... and I admit I was utterly unprepared for the influx of pronoia that came our way through the Net. But... floppy discs and zip-lock baggies to the rescue, and I was able to save some of the letters. Here's a tiny sampling:

Ha die mannen aan het andere eind van de kabel,

This writing is for two friends of me who don't have access to the net ( life is hard ).

Can you please send us more info about the upcoming Zippie meeting at the Grand Canyon coming august. You wrote about this meeting in the latest Wired magazine.
If this is not possible maybe you can give us some addresses for more info about the organization.

Peter is photographer who is interested in covering this meeting for a magazine.

Tino produces ambient house (experience 'The Hypercycle Vegetarian Picnic' Virgin Benelux 839 717 2 ) and is wondering if any acts are needed at the festival.

Since we all live in Holland we should plan the trip carefully. :-)

Thanks for reading this and please contact us even when you can't help us so we know we have to continue our search for 'Zippie'-info
